You probably do not need a reason — only the relief of not having to chase tango across ten different apps anymore. If your tango life today is a patchwork of Facebook events, Telegram chats, mailing lists and word of mouth, Tanguear is a quiet place where it can come together. The people are the same. Sign up and tell us a little about yourself — what role you dance, where you go, the orchestras and the schools you would like to follow. From there, Tanguear lets you do whatever you would usually do offline: keep up with friends, message someone before a milonga to ask if they will be there, see what your school is organizing next. Nothing more, nothing fancier.
Free. For the dancers, the partners, the friends — always free. The only money that moves through Tanguear is when you choose to buy a ticket, a course or some merchandise from an organizer or a school — and that is between you and them.

For the rest, Tanguear quietly listens to a small list of trusted tango sources — partly so newcomers find the floor as quickly as the regulars do, partly because nobody should miss a milonga because they do not know the right Telegram channel.
To delete your account within the app, follow these steps:

- Inside your user profile, locate and click the 'Delete Account' button.
- A confirmation prompt will appear to ensure you want to proceed with the account deletion.
- If you're certain about your decision, confirm the action.
- Your account, along with any associated events you previously created, will be permanently deleted from the system.
- Please note that this action is irreversible, and all data associated with your account will be lost. Make sure you have backed up any important information before proceeding.
