Three abrazos and

Tanguear was born in Trieste in 2024 from a group of tangueras and tangueros tired of hunting for milongas on Facebook, paying for tickets on Eventbrite, never knowing who'll be dancing tonight. It's the dance floor, in app form.

You walk in like you'd walk into a milonga: with a smile. No paywalls, no aggressive upsells, no leaderboards. Just people, dancing and music.

Inclusive

Leaders and followers, never men and women. Beginners and maestros on the same floor. Italian, English, Spanish — and a few words of porteño tango.

Concrete

Where you dance tonight, at what time, with which orchestra, how much it costs. No filler, no vague promises. Three taps and you're in.

The story

From Trieste to the world. One platform for all of tango.

Tanguear started from a simple idea: to give the tango world a place where tangueros, teachers and organizers can meet without borders and without noise.

The tango community is alive and passionate, but scattered. Finding the right milonga, the right partner, the right class too often meant searching across social networks, word of mouth and outdated directories.

We wanted it to be enough to open an app: just the events nearby, the people, the orchestras — tango in all its forms.

That's why Tanguear was built by tango lovers, not just developers: people who live and breathe this dance. It's a project by Shine Software, imagined as a single home where you can share the passion and grow a truly connected community.
