How to Join Tanguear

Tanguear is a community built on trust and quality. To keep the experience genuine, new members join by invitation only. You will need an invitation code from a friend or from an organizer who is already part of the community.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

• A smartphone running iOS or Android
• The Tanguear app installed (available on the App Store and Google Play)
• An invitation code

If you do not have an invitation code yet, you can request one directly inside the app.

Step-by-step registration

1. Open the app and tap "Sign Up" On the welcome screen, choose to create a new account.

2. Enter your invitation code Type or paste the code you received. Without a valid code, registration cannot proceed.

3. Choose your language Select the language you prefer. You can change this later in your settings.

4. Enter your email and create a password Use an email address you have access to. Your password must be at least 8 characters long.

5. Choose your role Tell the community who you are:

You can have more than one role. For example, a dancer who also teaches can select both.

6. Complete your profile Add your name, a profile photo, and a short description of yourself. This is what other tangueros will see when they visit your profile.

7. Grant permissions Tanguear will ask for:

• Location — to show events near you
• Notifications — to keep you informed about friends, events, and activity

You can accept or decline each permission. You can always change these later in your device settings.
