Inviting Friends to Tanguear

Tanguear grows through the tango community itself. Every member can invite fellow dancers, teachers, and tango enthusiasts to join the platform.

How invitations work

Each member receives a limited number of invitation codes. You can share these codes with people you trust and want to welcome into the community.

Generating your invitation code

Go to Settings > Invitations to see your available codes. Tap Generate Code to create a new invitation. You can then:

• Share the code directly via message
• Show the QR code for someone to scan in person

Tracking your invitations

The invitations screen shows you the status of each code you have shared — whether it has been used and who joined using it.

Why invitations matter

The invitation system keeps Tanguear a high-quality, trustworthy community. Because each new member is vouched for by an existing member, the platform maintains the warmth and respect of the milonga environment.

Requesting an invitation

If you do not yet have an invitation code, you can request one directly from the Tanguear welcome screen. An existing member or community ambassador will be notified and can send you a code.
