Rating Events and Writing Reviews
After attending a milonga, a workshop, or a festival, Tanguear lets you share your experience by rating the event and writing a review. This helps the community discover great events and gives organisers valuable feedback.
How event reviews work
When an event you attended has ended, you can leave a review. The review includes:
- A star rating — from 1 to 5 stars
- Category-specific ratings — depending on your role (Dancer, Teacher, or Organiser), you rate different aspects of the event such as atmosphere, music, organisation, floor quality, or teaching
- An optional written comment — share what made the event special or what could be improved
Who can review
Anyone who attended an event can leave a review. Your role determines which rating categories you see — a dancer rates the experience from the dance floor perspective, while a teacher might rate the venue and organisation.
Viewing reviews
On any event page, you can see the aggregate rating and read reviews left by other attendees. Reviews help you decide whether to attend an organiser's next event.
You can also browse nearby event reviews to discover well-rated milongas and workshops in your area.
Moderation
Reviews that are reported as inappropriate are reviewed by the Tanguear team and hidden if they violate community guidelines. The goal is to keep feedback constructive and respectful.
