Schools and Tango Organizations

Tanguear supports tango schools, academies, and community organizations. Whether you want to join a school as a student or manage your own organization, everything can be done inside the app.

What a school or organization is on Tanguear

A school or organization on Tanguear is a group with a dedicated profile. It can include:

• A name, logo, and description
• A list of members
• Events organized by the school
• Broadcast messages sent to all members

Joining a school

Browse the list of schools and organizations in the Schools section. Tap on any school to see its profile and member list. To join, tap Request to Join — the school administrator will review your request and accept or decline.

Once you are a member, you will receive broadcast messages from the school and see the school's events highlighted in your event feed.

Creating a school or organization

If you have the Organization or Teacher role on your profile, you can create a new school or organization. Go to the Schools section and tap Create. Fill in the name, description, and other details.

As an administrator, you can:

• Manage membership requests
• Send broadcast messages to all members
• Publish events linked to the school

Orchestras

Musicians can create and manage orchestras inside Tanguear. An orchestra profile includes the members, the repertoire, and upcoming performances. Orchestras can also announce tours, with specific dates and venues.
