The Daily Poll
Every day, Tanguear presents a Daily Poll — a fun, interactive way to see which events are the most popular in the community and to tell others where you plan to dance tonight.
How it works
Each day, Tanguear selects a set of event schedules happening that day and presents them as poll options. You simply tap on the event you plan to attend — your vote is recorded and the rankings update in real time.
There is also a "No participation" option if you are not attending any event that day.
What the poll shows
- A list of today's events as voting options
- The number of votes each event has received
- A ranking of the most popular events
- The list of participants — you can see who voted for each event
Synced with your favourites
When you favourite an event that appears in today's poll, your vote is cast automatically. The two features work together: favouriting is a signal that you care about the event, so Tanguear assumes you plan to attend.
Why the Daily Poll matters
The poll is a quick pulse of the community. It helps you:
- Decide where to go — see which milonga is the most popular tonight
- See who will be there — check the participant list before you leave home
- Discover events — you might spot a milonga you did not know about
For organisers, the poll is a real-time indicator of interest in their events.
