The Musicalizador Profile
The Musicalizador — the tango DJ — is the soul of every milonga. If you select the music that moves dancers, this profile is for you. It highlights your musical taste, experience, and style so that organisers and dancers know exactly what to expect from your tandas.
Like the other artistic roles, the Musicalizador profile extends the Tanguero profile.
What the Musicalizador profile adds
Music style slider
A unique feature: a slider that expresses your musical personality on a spectrum from Golden Age classics (Di Sarli, D'Arienzo, Pugliese) to Contemporary tango (Otros Aires, Bajofondo, electronic tango). This gives dancers and organisers an instant sense of your sound.
DJ experience
Indicate how many years you have been working as a musicalizador. Experience builds trust with organisers looking for a DJ.
Career overview
A short text where you can describe your DJ journey — where you have played, your philosophy of music selection, and what makes your tandas special.
Favourite genres and orchestras
Tag the genres you favour and the orchestras you love. This helps dancers know what to expect when you are at the console.
Spotify and SoundCloud
Share your playlists and mixes so tangueros can preview your style before the milonga.
Travel and festival availability
Mark yourself as available for festivals and events in other cities. Organisers actively search for musicalizadors when planning their events.

- Link your Spotify — a well-curated playlist is the best audition.
- Write your career overview — tell organisers where you have played and what makes you unique.
- Mark your availability — if you are open to travelling, say so. Festivals are always looking for good DJs.
