The Social Feed

The Social Feed is your window into the tango community. It is where organisers announce their events, teachers share updates, and the community exchanges news and stories.

What appears in the feed

Posts in the feed can be related to:

  • Events — announcements about upcoming milongas, festivals, and workshops
  • Schools — updates from tango schools and academies
  • Organizations — news from tango associations and venues
  • Personal stories — thoughts, photos, and moments from the milonga

Who can post

Not everyone can publish to the feed. Posting is available to users with specific roles — typically organisers, teachers, and schools. This keeps the feed focused on meaningful content from the people who drive the tango community.

Interacting with posts

When you see a post in the feed, you can:

  • Like it — show your appreciation
  • Comment — join the conversation. Comments support threading, so you can reply to a specific comment
  • View who liked the post — see which tangueros share your interest
  • Share — spread the word to your own connections

Content safety

Some posts may carry a content warning. When flagged, the content is hidden behind a notice and you choose whether to view it. This keeps the feed safe and respectful.

Staying current

The feed refreshes automatically and supports infinite scrolling. Pull down to refresh manually whenever you want the latest posts.
