The Tanguero Profile
The Tanguero is the heart of Tanguear. If you love to dance tango — whether you have been dancing for decades or took your first steps last month — this is your role. The Tanguero profile is the foundation that other roles (Teacher, Musician, Musicalizador) build upon.
What makes the Tanguero profile special
Your dance role
Set whether you are a Leader, a Follower, or both. This is essential for partner matching — when someone looks for a dance partner at an event, your role compatibility is visible immediately.
Your proficiency level
A slider from beginner to advanced. It helps others find partners at a similar level.
Your starting year, interest tags, and biography
Tell the community when you started, what styles you enjoy, and a few words about your tango journey.
