Your Privacy on Tanguear

Tanguear is built with privacy as a core value. You decide what you share, with whom, and when.

What you can control

From Settings > Privacy, you can configure:

• Who can see your profile — everyone, friends only, or no one
• Who can see your event attendance — everyone or friends only
• Who can see your photo albums — everyone or friends only
• Who can send you partner requests — everyone or friends only
• Who can message you — everyone or friends only

Location privacy

Tanguear uses your location to show events near you. Your precise location is never shared with other users. Only the city or region you choose to display on your profile is visible.

You can disable location access at any time from your device settings. You can still use Tanguear without location — you will simply need to search for events manually.

App tracking transparency

On iOS, Tanguear follows Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. When prompted, you can choose whether to allow or deny tracking. Your choice does not affect the core features of the app.

Deleting your account

If you decide to leave Tanguear, you can delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete Profile. This permanently removes all your data from the platform.

Data and security

Tanguear stores your data securely and never sells personal information to third parties. For the full details, read the Privacy Policy from the Settings menu.
