Deleting Your Account
We hope Tanguear stays part of your tango life for a long time — but if you decide to leave, deleting your account is simple and entirely in your hands.
Where to find it
The delete function lives in the app's Preferences, not on your profile page:
- Log in to the Tanguear app.
- Open the main menu and tap Preferences (the user-gear icon).
- Scroll down to the Account section.
- Tap Delete profile.
- A confirmation screen explains what will be removed. If you're sure, confirm the action.
What happens when you delete
- Your account and login are removed immediately — you are signed out on the spot.
- All personal data associated with your account is permanently removed from the platform.
- You receive a confirmation email as soon as the deletion is complete.
Good to know
- This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Save anything important — tickets, receipts, memories — before you proceed.
- Your email address is freed up. If you ever want to come back, you can create a brand-new account with the same email address.
- Tickets you already bought are between you and the organizer — contact them directly if you have an upcoming event.
